Democracy in the Middle East? Not so much

Remember back in June of 2009, President Obama delivered a speech to Muslims in Cairo about democracy in the Middle East?

How has that worked out for the President thus far?

According to White House Spokesman Jay Carney, the President will deliver a speech concerning democracy in the Middle East sometime in the next few weeks. I’m curious if the President will talk about any of the real issues that have taken place?

Over the last five months, the uprising throughout the Middle East has resulted in the overthrow of the governments in Tunisia and Egypt, an illegal NATO air strike over Libya and countless other countries including Syria, Yemen and Bahrain experiencing similar revolutions.

I suppose in some regard, the President got what he wanted.

As the mainstream news media supported Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak’s ouster, they paid little attention to the Muslim Brotherhood presence in Egypt during the protests. It seems as though it was just a funny coincidence that after Mubarak resigned, the Muslim Brotherhood presence continued to grow and its clerical leader, Yusuf al-Qaradawi returned to Egypt for the first time in twenty years and spoke to the crowd of protesters in Cairo, encouraging Muslims to unite, work against Israel and open the borders to the Gaza Strip.

What happened? The Gaza Strip was opened up. Hamas and Fatah formed a new alliance and for the first time in thirty years, Iran and Egypt began to have diplomatic relations. That is Shiite and Sunni Muslims respectively.

But apparently, the news media is looking at this as forms of “democracy”.

It really isn’t. Qaradawi has vowed to see the extermination of Jews in Israel. On January 28^th, 2009 Qaradawi told Al-Jazeera news: “Throughout history, Allah has imposed upon the Jews people who would punish them for their corruption...The last punishment were carried out by Hitler. By means of all the things he did to them – even though they exaggerated this issue – he managed to put them in their place. This was divine punishment for them...Allah willing; the next time will be at the hand of the believers.”

Additionally, Qaradawi has outspokenly supported Shiite Muslim terrorist groups including Hezbollah, because they also want to destroy Israel. Iran, which also backs Hezbollah, has largely been outspoken on its attempts to destroy Israel and while President Obama diverted the establishment of missile sites in Poland and the Czech Republic, this actually favored Iran more time to its developing nuclear program. Not to mention that Iran has missiles of its own that it received from North Korea.

Is this President Obama's idea of democracy in the Middle East? Surely he can't be that ignorant as to what is really going on over there? A completely destabilized region of the world largely becoming infested in radical Islam and terrorist groups? For whatever reason, the President is completely reluctant to mention anything about the negative developments that have materialized in these countries.

Just imagine Israel is a lamb, surrounded by a pack of wolves. Eventually, the wolves are going to stop circling the lamb and go into attack mode. The United States has seemingly ignored Israel’s repeated calls for help. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated many times, the Middle East looks at Israel as the ‘little Satan’ and the U.S. as the ‘bigger Satan’.

The interesting development of all is the United Nations attempts to recognize Palestine as an independent State by the end of the year. It is possible that President Obama’s ‘so called’ attempts at democracy in the Middle East are to favor a Palestinian nation. The same Palestine that supports Hamas.

The big loser here will be Israel. This is not democracy in the Middle East. This is basically what appears to be the beginnings of a new World War and an extension of the Nazi Holocaust.

Target: Israel

 There seems to be a deep resentment against Israel lately at the height of the Middle East protests, and for a variety of reasons. Shiite Muslims want Israel gone so they can reclaim the 'promise land' and among the list of suspects include Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslm Brotherhood and yes even, Moammar Gaddafi.

You may be asking yourself why Muslims and al-Qaeda are currently allies right now with the United States to overthrow Gaddafi in Libya. Well, its very simple. If they can rat out the dictator, that means the people Gaddafi has controlled for over four decades will now come under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood, after all the clerical leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, Yusuf al-Qaradawi called for an assassination on Gaddafi.

Isn't it also interesting that Egypt was the only country in the Middle East that helped keep the peace with Israel. After Hosni Mubarak's removal as President, Qaradawi, who was banned from Egypt for many years was seemingly allowed back into the country and he spoke in front of a crowd of the so called 'peaceful' protesters calling for the extermination of Jews.

You would think Adolph Hitler was resurrected. 

Switch back to September of 2010, when President Obama spoke at the United Nations calling for Palestine to become a State by 2011. See the trend?

I don't doubt for a moment that the early protests in Tunisia back in January were a result of people becoming fed up with dictatorial control, poverty, unemployment and shortages. However, there is seemingly an evil throughout the Middle East that have used these protests as a catalyst to do something far more worse.

Strangely, this President has not once called for unification with Israel during these times of crisis. He is a President that you simply cannot take seriously and he himself, seems to harbor some kind of resentment against Israel. If he does want a Palestine state to be established by the end of 2011, wouldn't that mean the removal of Israel? I can't see why a terrorist organization like Hamas would suddenly decide to surrender and become friends with Israel over night, since they are largely occupied in the Palestinian region.

But perhaps nobody is more anti-Israel than the Jew hater himself, George Soros, someone who actually participated in the extermination of Jews during Hitler's reign in Nazi Germany. He was quoted as saying"Israel is the major stumbling block for world peace."

Perhaps Soros and his puppet Obama actually want Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to throw a nuclear bomb in Israel's direction?

Yes, it is a serious question.

U.S. joins with al-Qaeda to topple Gaddafi?

When Moammar Gaddafi indicated that Libyan civilians were being 'drugged by members of al-Qaeda', my first impression was that his comments about a terrorist network presence in his country was a load of BS, and that he was just babbling like any other insane dictator. Well, take it with a grain of salt.

It turns out, seeing that the Muslim Brotherhood presence in Egypt escalated after Hosni Mubarak's resignation, Gaddafi's comments are turning out to be completely true.

Libyan rebel forces have recruited Muslims from the terrorist group al-Qaeda to combat Gaddafi's regime. This means, the U.S. has in an essence have become allies of al-Qaeda. This is breathtaking.

The same terrorist group that orchestrated the 9/11 attacks on American soil, is committed to bringing down Gaddafi, with the assistance of U.S. military and the so called 'international community'. Do you think anyone in this Administration is going to admit that we have officially aligned ourselves with a terrorist network? Not in a million years, the mainstream news media and the left-wing 'supposed' 501 c 3 non-profit Media Matters for America, (also known as Media Matters Hates America) would never touch base on something like this.

Now some Libyan rebels are already expressing the belief that "not all al-Qaeda members are bad Muslims."

I beg to differ. Anyone that has an association whether it is al-Qaeda, Hamas, Hezbollah or the Muslim Brotherhood poses as a danger to the world. To be frank, the people associated with these organizations have absolutely no remorse anything. These are the kinds of creatures that cherish their barbaric lifestyle by kidnapping, torturing and murdering people, whether its Americans or Israelis, or anyone else for that matter.

Yet in a situation like this, we have indirectly aligned ourselves with a terrorist group that is committed to destroying America, just because President Obama felt that it was necessary to impose a No-Fly Zone on Libya which had no immediate threat to our national security.

By the way Mr. President, I understand there is violence going on in Yemen, Syria, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Will the UN decide to impose a No Fly Zone in those countries as well?

Misconceptions of the Middle East

Since the beginning of the upheaval in the Middle East, most of the world following the catastrophe has been manipulated by the news media into believing this is all about human rights and higher pay. Some of this is true. There is no question that dictators like Qaddafi, Mubarak, Ben Ali, among others, have ruled over their people with an iron fist.

However the situation is much more than that and there has been too many misconceptions about what is really going on in the Middle East. Isn't it interesting that you have a dictator like Qaddafi in Libya that is vowing to start a civil war against protesters, not to mention his country harbors a deep resentment against Israel, as it is with all the other Middle Eastern nations. Yet, the clerical leader of the Muslim Brotherhood Yusuf al-Qaradawi has called for Qaddafi's assassination. Qaradawi also wants Israel gone. He spoke in front of thousands of protesters calling for the eliminating of Jews and that they will be punished, much like how Hitler carried this act out in Nazi Germany.

So why would two people who hate Israel, want to kill one another?

Do you see what is happening here? You have dictators that run countries and now they face an even larger threat. If you can get rid of all of these governments, and if the Muslim Brotherhood can infiltrate and persuade their followers to establish a 'new Middle East', the world is going to have one huge problem, not to mention, the economic conditions, will be critical.

This appears to be the common misconception. Here in America, all you hear is this talk of "down with the dictators, let the Arab people have peace!" Yet, people don't realize the evil behind the evil.

Now, in addition to Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria and Libya; Yemen, Bahrain, Oman and Jordan have all began to experience major protests. The one country that is apparently surrounded by this fire is Saudi Arabia. If this country begins to feel the pressure, think of what kind of impact this is going to have on gas prices right here in the United States.

We're in for some tough seas.

Egypt President Mubarak resigns

Egypt announced the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak today, after thirty years of power and two weeks of violence upheaval from its people. Well, it seems the opposite was apparent. The military finally put the pressure on him, following even more angry protests that occurred yesterday, after Mubarak announced he would hand over some powers to his Vice President Omar Suleiman, but that he would not resign.

His resignation comes after thirty years of dictatorial control on his people. Yet on the same end, Mubarak has been a very powerful ally to the United States to protecting Israel from radical terrorist groups.

While the Egyptian people began to celebrate immediately upon handing power over to the military, to some, this would give confidence that they will prevent hostile intervention from the Muslim Brotherhood.

But there is still cause for concern. The Muslim Brotherhood could end up getting a majority support from the people of Egypt and this would be catastrophic for the Middle East, as many of the protesters that wanted Mubarak to step aside, seem to be the ones supporting the Muslim Brotherhood.

The resignation of President Mubarak will most likely send shock waves throughout the Middle East. With the case of the protests in Tunisia that ultimately forced the removal of its President Ben Ali, it spread like wild fire to Egypt. Now with Egypt out of the way, many other countries might also see more larger upheavals. Libya, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Iran.

If it spreads and the Muslim Brotherhood does end up getting support in these countries and carrying out its determination against Israel, the Middle East, well, might not be the Middle East anymore.

Chaos in Egypt continues to rise...

President Mubarak said yesterday in his press conference that he would do everything in his power to establish 'social justice' in Egypt, but refused to resign from his position. Instead, he has vowed not to run for re-election. But this is not sitting well with the protesters influenced by the Muslim Brotherhood.

Now, chaos has really broken out into a more violent magnitude. Supporters of Mubarak have begun to clash with the hundreds of thousands of protesters in downtown Cairo, so much so, that even CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and ABC news correspondent Christiane Amanpour found themselves in the middle of it all.

If anyone knows a little bit about the history of uprising in the Middle East, it all relates back to the Muslim Brotherhood. Iran is a classic example, back in the late 1970's when its government was trying to control the nation from becoming an Islamic country. It didn't work out. Now you have Mahmoud Ahmadinejad just patiently waiting.

The same can be said of Egypt. There is a great deal of influence that the Muslim world wants to impose on just about everything, which is Sharia Law and a land that they believe is rightfully theirs. This is why they want Israel out.

Now one may argue that the Muslim Brotherhood won't have any influence on Egypt's new government once Mubarak is out. Well that certainly was not the case with Iran back then, and Jordan, which bans terrorist groups like Hamas, is struggling with its government right now.

Yet what is the most remarkable out of all of this, is while that entire region of the world is slowly becoming destabilized, President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton and Speaker Boehner, seem to be 'egging on the protests', but fail to mention anything about how fast this is all spreading and the interrelationships the countries in the Middle East have with one another.

Its fascinating to me that the far left in America are supporting the protests throughout the Middle East, but they'll criticize the Tea Party which protests against the same kind of government corruption...?

On one end, they support chaos, but condemn the same chaos on another end.

The double standard is breathtaking.

Protests in Egypt continue to grow

It does not seem that the protests in Egypt will go away anytime soon. Of the many North African and Middle Eastern nations protesting for the removal of their dictatorial leaders, Egypt seems to be the most tense. While protesters are calling for a million people to take to the streets demanding President Mubarak's removal, thus far, it seems that little is deterring him.

Last week, as the protesters grew into large crowds onto the streets on Cairo, President Mubarak removed his entire cabinet, hoping to calm down the tone, but it did nothing. Instead members of Egypt's own police force, actually sided with the protesters and its army actually called the protests 'legitimate'. That's saying quite a bit for a country that represses freedom of expression.

Now it is very likely that Mubarak may eventually resign, as the pressure is mounting and today he did call for a new government and even shoved the Interior Minister aside, which is the head of the nation's security forces that has been battling the upheaval since it began.

But there is still some strange contradictions going on here in the United States and the response to Egypt's protest movement. Vice President Joe Biden stated that President Mubarak was not a dictator and should not step down, while Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appeared on ABC's Sunday morning news show This Week with Christiane Amanpour stating that there "needs to be reform". Meanwhile, President Obama called for the same reform and that "the United States is committed to working with the Egyptian government and the Egyptian people, from all quarters to achieve it, and around the world governments have an obligation to respond to their citizens..."

Oh is that right? The Federal Government gave no response to the American people when they called for an end of corruption under President Bush and now under your tenure Mr. President, but I digress...

The single most important factor that this Administration is failing to consider is that if and when President Mubarak is removed, regardless of his authoritarian rule in Egypt, this means there could be a very good possibility that the Muslim Brotherhood could take control, thus causing the Middle Eastern region to become destabilized.

Egypt as one of the United States' closest allies in that region of the world, has helped us protect Israel and against al-Qaeda terrorists. The last thing we need right now is for Egypt to collapse and bring that portion of the world one step closer to taking Israel out.

There is great admiration from the protesters in Egypt who want a freer society without an authoritarian rule, as it struggles with poverty, inflation, unemployment and shortages. However, could the Middle East be any better if Mubarak steps aside?

Regardless of the looting, destruction and death that has occurred throughout Egypt in the last week, the protesters are vowing to not stop, until Mubarak is out.
